大学入学要求

申请者必须修满至少15学分的法语高级课程。 申请人还必须提供(a)或(b)：

Applicants who have not completed all the specific course requirements are given individual consideration and may be admitted with conditions, with the approval of the chair of the Department of 中等教育 and the chair of the Department of Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures.

Students who possess Initial Certification in teaching French or the equivalent must complete the following courses in French: French 7010 x; 7510 x or 7520 x; 12 credits of electives as approved by the chair or deputy chair of the Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures Department.

Students must also complete a substantial final project, which may take the form of a thesis in French, or may consist of a “teaching unit” completed under the co-direction of the Department of Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures and the 教育学院. The writing of the thesis or completion of the teaching unit may take place during a three-credit tutorial, French 7900 x, taken as the final course of the student’s program. French 7900 x, however, is not a required course for the degree.

Courses in the Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures Department and the 教育学院 offered toward the degree must be 7000-level courses. The program of study must be approved early in the first semester by the chair or deputy chair of the Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures Department and the chair of the Department of 中等教育.

教育（12学分）

Students must also complete 12 credits in courses in Education as follows: 研究 in Modern Languages Education: SEED 7622吨; Literacy: SEED 7503 x; Mindfulness SEED 7504 x; Development and SEL: SEED 7507 x.

选项B（40学分）

法语（15学分）

Students who do not possess Initial Certification in teaching French or the equivalent must complete the following courses in French: French 7010 x; 7510 x or 7520 x; nine credits of electives as approved by the chair or deputy chair of the Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures Department.

Students must also complete a substantial final project, which may take the form of a thesis in French, or may consist of a “teaching unit” completed under the co-direction of the Department of Global Languages,  Literatures, and Cultures and the 教育学院. The writing of the thesis or completion of the teaching unit may take place during a three-credit tutorial, French 7900 x, taken as the final course of the student’s program. 教育核心（12学分）

The following four education courses are required unless candidates have taken one or more as part of previous coursework: Foundations: SEED 7500 x; Literacy: SEED 7503 x; Special Education: SEED 7671 x; Development and SEL: SEED 7507 x.

学生教学（4学分）
